360 Degree Bike

Scitech, Perth

ES has recently completed an exciting 6 metre, 360 degree rider powered bike for Scitech in WA. This exhibit uses a standard vertical seating for the rider rather than the recumbent position used previously by ES in the Botswana Gforce exhibit. Various challenges needed to be overcome in its development including the design of a fixed gear bicycle attached via pivot mechanism in a 360-degree loop and fabrication of a custom self-adjusting harness system.

This thrilling rides provides the user with a fun experience whilst exploring kinetic and gravitational energy forces.
